When I run the Backup_script.pl, it fails with: Failed to execute getServerAddress
but if I use the command line, it's successfull (<tree message="SUCCESS" cmdUtilityServer="evs46.idrive.com" cmdUtilityServerIP="173.255.12.185" webApiServer="evsweb46.idrive.com" webApiServerIP="173.255.12.186"/>)

Just installed Idrive on my synology.
Problem login in.
When starting Idrive, i get a login screen at adres: http://192.168.50.150/IDrive/
When filling in loginname (admin) and password it redirects me to: http:///IDrive/index.php which is an invalid adress.
What do I do wrong?
Seeing as the synology app only supports arm and intel units I.e not the likes of their most popular units like the DS413. Would it be possible to enable rsync?
This is something that all the synology units support on all models with the built in tools.

Anyone update to the new IDrive 2.4.3 app while on iOS 7.0.6 and experiencing app crashing while trying to view backed up pics and videos? Mine crashes every time I try to view my pics and videos, it did not do this prior to this new update. Funny thing is this update was pushed to prevent it crashing on some iDevices.

Unable to login to idrive from the login screen on the QNAP device. Is there a separate admin account for idrive from the QNAP device? Using latest version (1.2)
Since I installed iDrive around 1/10/2014, it always fails to complete backup of my outlook.pst file if outlook is open. If outlook is closed it backs up successfully, but it is not reasonable to have to close outlook every night. The outlook file always fails verification. I have chatted with India customer support but no help. Anyone else have this problem?
Can I use IDrive as a picture storage? I am creating a personal website to display my family pictures. Let's say that I create an album with 10 pictures in IDrive. Now I want to create a web page that it will display the 10 pictures, is that possible?

I found this thread http://blog.idrive.com/2011/03/28/managing-your-idrive-pro-quota/ but I'm curious how to do the same thing using the linux client? Obviously there is no "Restore Tab" on the command line. :) I also didn't see any automatic sync options in the configuration file.
I can't find anything (unless I missed it) here in the forums either.

I had considered backing up my entire NAS but instead decided to limit my backup to my /storage folder which is where I have /dev/md0 mounted (a 5TB raid array of which I'm using about 3TB).
Somehow I managed to back up 5TB of stuff to iDrive (even though I've only purchased 4TB of space). Looking at the files on the iDrive website I see folders that exist outside of the /storage hierarchy and which are NOT present in the BackupsetFile.txt. I deleted those manually and added those folders to my ExcludeList.txt just in case. It has been a few days, I just checked again and they are back... and again I'm over my space limit.
Any ideas what is going on?

It would be very useful if you would implement such option in idevsutil. It could be something additional like "sync" command or option in delete command.
I find it the only thing lacking seriously in your tool.

I am trying install idevsutil and restore one file of my repository. I follow that tutorial [https://www.idrive.com/cmd_steps.htm] saving the extracted folder in /Documents but when i try to run that command:
$ idevsutil --config-account --enc-type=DEFAULT --user=<username> --password-file="MyPassword"
with my credentials that message is shown:
"idevsutil: commando not found"
And if i try
$ ./idevsutil
is shown
"Cannot execute binary file"
Does anyone know what can be?

I'd like to make new topic, concerning the idea, given in another topic about idevsutil-api (http://forum.idrive.com/topic.php?id=128).
But my proposal is about such feature in the web client. I'll explain my idea in details.
First I'll remind (just for the sake of pointing the difference with my idea) how works in the moment the upload-action in the web client - it adds and updates all sub-items in the corresponding folder on the server (if it exists, otherwise it creates it and adds all the sub-items).
My idea is to have new button (let's name it "Upload with cleanup"). And the action to be as the current upload-button with the difference that it will DELETE the sub-items that don't exist in the source (local) folder.
I believe other people would like this feature too.
I've told in the other topic that I really like the web client, and the lack of this feature is the only functional lack I see.

i'm missing the option to do a archive cleanup from the Synology package. I have moved some files and realized that these was backed up twice. Would somehow need to remove old files which is no longer availible on the NAS.
After upgrading my hard drive, archive cleanup will not work against any files backed up from my original hard drive, even though the machine name and file system is identical. Archive cleanup will work against any NEW files that I create (and then delete) after the upgrade, but Archive Cleanup will not find any deleted files that were originally backed up from the old C: drive. This is a big bug since many people replace their computer or hard drive every 2-3 years.
Archive cleanup should match my current backup set (for example \\machine\C\users\mb\desktop) against the same machine/folder structure in the archive, and flag any differences. I want my archived files to match the files on my hard drive, period. It should not matter if I upgraded my hard drive.

backup in idrive don't start, it's stop on "Preparing file list....."
then, a long time, I have to stop backup.
When I start the backup from my computer with the application idrive, backup does not start and the application hangs on the message "Preparing file list....."
Anybody had any success (or lack of) trying to back up a WD My Cloud to iDrive? Not through a computer, but directly from the My Cloud device.
Since the My Cloud is a Linux box, can that add in be used somehow?

Is there any way to automatically sync files&folders from a windows PC and the Android device?
The only way I found is to manually open IDrive app, click on sync icon and manually download or open files to the SD Card. I would like to map a SDcard folder and the changes made in laptop folder where automatically replicated into android device.
